Rules and Strategy of The Classic Card Game "SPADES"...Lets Meets For a Few Rounds Here in Parkchester

People that know the rules and strategy of The Classic Card Game "SPADES" know this game is great fun and that it could be seriously, seriously, seriously challenging as well.

So... where do you go to enjoy several rounds? Instead of playing with the same ol' people or visiting some spades.com website, why not meet new people (in the real world) with your passion for playing spades.

The "Parkchester Library Spades Meetup" Group gather right here in the Parkchester (Bronx, NY) community. Get all that INFO here.

Also try out this 2nd NYC-based spades meet-up group right here.

An InsideParkchester Inquiry: Where do you rate yourself as a spade's player? Beginner's level? Very good? Top-calibre? ... Just asking because as any serious spades player will tell you, the challenging factor is directly proportional to the skill level of the players. For general info about how to play this game see wikipedia's entry.

Parkchester (Bronx, NY) Residents, Is Poetry in Your Blood? Then Bring It !!!

Attending meetings of “The Bronx Poetry Meetup Group” may be right up your alley; worth at least a single visit to see what you can give and take from a gathering of folks serious about their poetry.

Founded on December 10, 2007, the group has 81 members. Yearly membership dues is $5.00. And the group meets (for the most part) at least once a month. Attendance for the past 10 meetings (from July 16, 2008 to March 18, 2009) averaged 3.8 people. Not a bad thing, really, as you could get in on groundfloor before attendance swells. Why not enjoy these early intimate settings now, amongst poets like yourself?

Make sure to visit site’s “Welcome”page for details, including how to sign up, upcoming meetings, attendance, comments from participants, etc..
